Switch Interior Design
Case Study: Building the Brand Identity for Switch Interiors
Switch Interiors, a collaboration between accomplished designers Amy and Louise, came to life with a need for a brand that truly reflected their dynamic vision and bespoke approach to interior design. Initially, they had an off-the-shelf logo that lacked the heart and personality they wanted. As designers with a keen eye for detail, they understood the importance of a brand that aligned with their ethos and the soul of the spaces they create.
The Brief: Crafting a Brand with Personality
Amy and Louise approached me with a clear vision—they wanted the brand to feel as personal and authentic as the interiors they design. Their practice, Switch Interiors, offers a fully bespoke service, so their identity had to capture that sense of individuality and creativity. The brand needed to embody their philosophy: creating designs with soul, tailored specifically to their clients’ personal preferences and the architecture of the space.
The Concept: Interiors with Edge
In response to the brief, I developed a brand identity that was contemporary and visually dynamic, yet approachable—just like Amy and Louise themselves. The tagline, “Interiors with Edge,” encapsulated their bold, adventurous approach to design, encouraging clients to embrace creativity and explore new possibilities in their spaces. This concept was visually translated through the logo design, with sharp angles and a distinctive cut-off corner, inspired by the angular form of the “W” in Switch. A bold pop of bright pink added energy and vibrancy, reinforcing their innovative and fresh approach.
The Result: A Brand That Reflects Their Craft
The result was a cohesive and distinctive brand identity that truly resonated with the ethos of Switch Interiors. The logo, website design, and overall branding now reflect the bespoke, soulful, and slightly daring nature of their work, providing the perfect platform for their growing design studio. The new identity not only showcases their collaborative spirit but also sets them apart in the competitive world of interior design.
